Been awhile since I played Minecraft with my kids. A few days ago, my son found his Minecraft “Guide to Farming” book once again and he wanted to try out the ideas in the book. So we fired up the game and built some small farms in Creative Mode. We got to enjoy the sunrise in the game as well. (Note that I'm using a texture pack here, I think it was called “Full Of Life”, or something like that.)
I'm not sure if this was always possible or not, but as you can see in the screenshot, there were three of us playing the game. I only ever played the game in co-op mode with my eldest son. It looks like you can play local co-op with up to four players now. Cool!
Later on, in the same map that we built the small farms on, I decided that I wanted to build a watch tower. Had my eldest son help me build it, while his little brother got himself lost in a nearby forest. For some reason, he always has his Inventory up when I take a screenshot. 😄
